GOOD FOOD TOUR: EAT GOOD FOOD FOR A GOOD CAUSE

A number of weeks ago, I participated with Foodpanda's Good Food Tour, their global campaign which is on its 9th leg. Foodpanda partnered with a well-known international non-governmental organization (iNGO) Action Against Hunger, an organization that aims to fight malnutrition, for the 9th run of Good Food Tour. This is my second time to join a tour, the first time was all about desserts in select restaurants in Alabang Town Center.

Tammy and I had a blast yesterday. It's the usual laid back Sunday and we hopped in at All Day Café near our place to have a doze of our fave ice cream. But lo' and behold —our usual simple convenience-store- ice cream indulgence just got extra because of the Yummy Goya Double Hazelnut Spread!

If you are a Southie like me, for sure you've visited Westgate Center in Filinvest Alabang. But if you are not from the South and would be around Alabang area, I would recommend that you visit the place coz I know you'll love it. You ask why? A stroll around Westgate is like being presented a buffet of the best that the local restaurant scene has to offer. It is where one can spend time with loved ones over a good meal, a good conversation over artisan coffee or dessert, or just simple moments to unwind with family and friends. Oh, and did I say lots of IG worthy spots too??

If you want to try authentic Texas-Mexican dishes, you got to try this resto! It's a hidden gem at Newport Mall in Resorts World Manila~ if you'll ask me. It has great ambiance, good music, and good food.

If you haven't heard what Japan's BAKE Cheese Tart is all about then I 'd like to personally say to you that you are doing something wrong with your life. Lol, just kidding. If you have been visiting the malls here in the metro, you can now see that there's a display of Chinese New Year  set up  from one mall to another. I think, next to Christmas, it is one of the most celebrated festivity not just for the Chinese Community in the Philippines, but for most Filipinos as well. We all know it, last Sunday, May 14 was Mother's day. It was also the birthday of Tammy so we kinda' have a different celebration for lunch and dinner that day. Speaking of becoming a Mom, when we think of our Moms, diba one of the things that pop up our mind are the best recipes that she prepares on our table. I don't know why, but probably because of the instinct of our mothers who tend to be naturally caring. Diba they would always make sure that she feeds and give out the best for her family. Sabi nga nila, wala ng tatalo pa because our Mother's are the best kaya naman her cooking is the best din.

ANNAM NOODLE BAR OPENS AT RESORTS WORLD MANILA + REVAMPED MENU + REVIEW

If you are fond of Vietnamese dishes, for sure you have heard and tried Annam Noodle Bar which has successfully debuted its first branch in the Philippines at Eastwood City last July 16, 2016. 

But hale dear Southies, because we too can now dine and be transported in the vibrant streets of Saigon as it has just opened its new outlet at Newport Mall in Resorts World Manila in Pasay City.

Known as NamNam Noodle Bar in Singapore, the concept first launched in October 2012 and now has four outlets in the island-state, and four other locations in Jakarta, Indonesia.

So what's something to be excited about aside from it having an outlet in the South?
