Style | Bad Habits

How have you been doin' lately? Hope you are all good and feeling great. I am not feeling as great at the time while I am writing this post. My joints are sore....
Gosh, I have been feeling all sorts of pain like this recently and it starts to worry me already. I guess that's the problem when you start to age. You suddenly feel tired then feel all those aches and pains. Life sucks huh! But this is life....
I must confess I do not practice a healthy lifestyle. I eat everything - as in every single thing that you could think oozing with cholesterol and calories. I don't take vitamins and supplements. I don't sleep early. I don't exercise. So I guess those bad habits that I did in the past are slowly taking over my body. (Diba nga ang sabi ng mga matatanda, lahat yan may singil. I guess all of what our grandma's had to say before are all true!)
These pains that I currently feel makes it a total wake up call to me. It's already telling me that I should totally change my lifestyle.

Please don't be like me okay... Take care and love your body all the time :)

Moving over...

For this post I am featuring another casual - street wear outfit.
I love how the sheer floral top from VANITYCHICK SHOP just flow loose on my body. The moment I saw this top, I already know that it would perfectly match the high-waisted jeans from THE SWEET CLOTH
While some prefer to wear their high- waisted jeans with cropped fitted tops, I on the other hand did the opposite. I purposely styled it this way so that my hips won't draw so much attention -(big hips problems ya' know!)   I don't know, it must be out of shyness because up to now I still have this tendency in hiding my hips instead of flaunting it.  I know I should not be hiding it because to others they consider having big hips as a plus asset. But who knows! Maybe in the coming months you would already see me pairing up this high-waisted jeans to tight fitting tops because I am going to start changing my lifestyle today before its too late.

I'm already excited seeing myself eating healthy plates with a physically fit and toned body! Yiiiiiiiii! wish me luck :)

STYLE | Posh Pink ~~ in support to the breast cancer awareness month

"October is breast cancer awareness month. Everybody knows about breast cancer and many worry about it.
But all the worry and fear in the world is wasted energy and added stress if we don't take the steps to reduce our chances of getting cancer.
And that means regular screening and early detection, as well as healthy lifestyle. "

I read the article above from the herald news tweet. We all know that whatever type of cancer it would be, it definitely is deadly. Cancer is not something new to me since my Dad battled from the deadly illness and it still breaks my heart each time I look back the year my dad got diagnosed. It was already stage4 when it got detected so no chances of reversing everything.  But with breast cancer,  it is another story ~ It is often reversible. One could still be cancer free even if you have been diagnosed with it.
We have a modern technology nowadays --
With the right doctor, proper intake of prescribed meds and healthy lifestyle, one can be saved from the cancer's "death sentence".

Moving over since I don't want to bring back so much pain in my heart ~ The outfit I'm featuring in this post is more on a casual street-style. I paired a peep shoulder knitted top to a
midi-cut ripped denim jeans and the very cute dog and cat flats courtesy of The Purpektion Shop. Since pink is such a girlie color, I took advantage of its girlieness and paired it with the soothing posh teal colored bag from GET TO GO BAGS. It matches my green ombre hair too right? This is my second bag from Get to Go Bags and I must say that it's made of finest quality materials. And if you are going to review the price range of their products, with the quality and materials used ~ it is definitely purchase worthy!

To sum it up, whether you are always a fan of the "it" trends or prefer to stick with the basics, at one point or another, you need to add soft colors to your wardrobe. Soft hues are a classic staple and are timeless enough. This make this tones wearable year after year and when styled just right, it can make one's look trendy and cool.

We are aware about breast cancer already but are we DOING something to PREVENT it? SO BEFORE I END THIS POST,  I HAVE CREATED A SIMPLE TASK FOR MYSELF AND FOR YOU TO HELP INCREASE BREAST CANCER AWARENESS. If you wish to join in, wear something pink too in support for those who are suffering from the illness and for everyone to be more conscious and aware. Let's all encourage our mothers, sisters and friends to do the same. Hope you will join me loves!

Below is a photo of me wearing a pink top without wearing any make-up showing my full support for the breast cancer awareness.
Let's all hug awareness, do self - breasts exams monthly and have a regular check-up to our doctors. We can do it all together!

Xoxo, J

STYLE | Mesh it up

If you still remember and grew up in the 90’s you would perhaps remember fish nets sans black mesh trends. Today, you would again see apparels that are styled and made with mesh materials. It’s great to note though that current trends featuring such style is a lot subtle and nicer.

I’m loving this chic dress from HeyJaimieGirl, the brand which I handle and is under my belt. I paired this dress with the pretty sandals from SHOEZETTE which created a simple and fresh look.

The weather earlier was great and I guess it would also be perfect tomorrow. Hope you’ll enjoy the rest of the weekend J don’t forget to catch my adventures in instagram.

EVENT | Clinique Smart Serum Launch

Clinique launched its latest Smart Custom - Repair Serum last September 9 at the Samsung hall of SM Aura.

The latest product was launched by Ms. Kaye Fidelino as the latest beauty product to totally innovate your beauty regimen. Imagine a revolution and innovation in skin product that cannot only target different skincare problems but can also repair skin damage that can't be seen!

Dancers opened the show teaming up with the look of its latest product. There was also a Smart Custom-Repair Serum inspired fashion show headed by the international Philippine Fashion Designer, Ms. Pia Gladys Perey.

Over-all, as with the previous Clinique events that I was able to attend, the event was again a total blast.

The Smart Serum is already available in all Clinique Stores starting this October 2014.
Below are some more photos of the event.

STYLE| Laid black

How are you guys feeling today? Hope you are all feeling good just as I am.
It's a very casual day for me since we just had to visit and check the lay-out, the merchants spaces and the electrical wiring for our upcoming event, just making sure that everything will go well.

Weather was great (praying hard that the weather will be the same for the next couple of days).
During days like this, I always opt to choose a comfortable outfit.  I specifically pick today the Camou boxer shorts from Ripples and paired it with a black top. I wore my extra large sunnies which I bought from a bazaar and my all time favorite Carvil mandals - and I am good to go.

WEARING:
Sunnies | My thrift Bazaar finds.
Camou Boxer Shorts | Ripples
Michael Kors Tote Bag | Jaimie's Obsessions
Mandals | Carvil
