Tea often times are our go - to choice for a drink weather we are hanging out with our friends, our first drink in the morning, an after meal drink or just simply when we need a boost. There are a lot of tea choices available for us. There's Oolong, Chamomile, Lemon, Jasmin, Green tea, White tea, Black tea and the list goes on and on. All of these give many health benefits to our body as it releases antioxidants. Through the years, experts and even ordinary people in their households have been brewing a variety of tea concoctions may it be for flavor and often times for its known healing purposes as it releases anti-oxidants.

On another note, teas are consumed because of its ability in aiding constipation (the laxative ones). There are a lot of these ones available in the market.

IT'S WEEKEND ONCE AGAIN! 

YAHOO!!! 

YEARS BACK WHEN I STILL HAVE MY DAY JOB, I WOULD ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO THE WEEKEND. I ALWAYS GET EXCITED BECAUSE IT IS THE TIME WHERE I COULD HAVE MY "ME TIME" AND AN EXCLUSIVE FAMILY TIME. WEEKENDS TO ME ARE A SPECIAL MOMENT OF BONDING  WITH THEM ESPECIALLY WITH MY DAUGHTER. I'M SURE, 8 OUT OF 10 WHO GETS TO READ THIS KNOW ALREADY THAT SPECIAL KIND OF LONGING AND HAPPINESS I'M TALKING ABOUT.  :-)

SOMEONE ASKED ME THIS QUESTION,  "HOW HAS MOTHERHOOD CHANGED YOU?" - I ANSWERED RIGHT AWAY THAT IT HAS CHANGED ME IN A LOT OF WAYS. 

MAINLY BECAUSE IT GAVE MY LIFE A DIRECTION. 

WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I THINK I WAS JUST GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS OF LIFE. 

MY MOM WOULD ALWAYS TELL  ME "YOU HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL, YOU HAVE TO DO THIS, YOU SHOULD NOT BE DOING THAT" ----  I THINK THAT TIME, I WAS JUST A BIG FOLLOWER. I GUESS THE ONLY TIME THAT I GOT TO REALLY DECIDE FOR MYSELF WAS WHEN I GOT MARRIED AND HAD MY DAUGHTER. TAMMY WAS THE ONE WHO GAVE ME THE DRIVE TO THINK AND DECIDE ON MY OWN. 

ANTHONY AND I ARE REALLY A TEAM WHEN IT COMES TO TAMMY. 

WE WANT HER TO LIVE A CAREFREE LIFE BUT WITH RESPONSIBILITY. 

IT'S LIKE JUST BEING CANDID AND YET SHE'D KNOW HER LIMITS.

 I'M REALLY NOT THAT STRICT WHEN IT COMES TO HER SCHOOL. 

BUT I MAKE SURE THAT I'M CULTIVATING GOOD STUDY HABITS TO HER. 

WITH TAMMY, WE ALWAYS MAKE A POINT THAT WE SPEND TIME WITH HER AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. 

BECAUSE I KNOW THAT NO MATTER HOW MUCH TOYS OR THINGS YOU GIVE A CHILD, WHAT SHE WOULD REMEMBER IS WHEN YOU TOOK THE TIME TO PLAY IT WITH HER.

 SO IT REALLY PAYS TO MAKE TIME. 

BUT IT ALSO PAYS TO HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH YOURSELF. 

AND THEN AGAIN, AT THE END OF THE DAY, WHAT'S IMPORTANT  IS HAVING A VERY GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR PARTNER IN LIFE, WITH YOUR FAMILY AND WITH OUR LORD GOD. :) :)

RANDOM THOUGHTS| Fresh Restart

You might have noticed that I have not been blogging for more than a month now. It is because I have been occupied with a lot of things. Seriously, I have a lot of things laid in my hands. SO many that at times I do not know which are the ones should I do first. SO many that I feel like I have taken a lot of them for granted. SO many that my concentration is no longer focused. SO many that most of the time I felt like choking up already.

Whitening soap, Lightening soap, Kojic Acid soap, Kalamansi soap, Papaya soap, Peeling soap, and Gluthathione soap - - whichever way the manufacturers would call it, end result is, all are skin enhancers ("pampa-beauty" for the skin).

The Resignation

Sometimes, quitting from your recent job is really hard especially if your position in the company is vital in the organization. No matter how great the company is - How your recent pay satisfies your needs and wants - How strong your connections already are - or simply how you have become so close to almost everyone in your company.

But as they say, ALL GOOD THINGS DO COME TO AN END.

There are really days when an individual would feel that the company they are working with have already exhausted so much from them.And when somebody feels this... it only means one thing: YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH WHERE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW.

You are simply SICK and TIRED. So you have to move on. You have to find yourself. You have to identify where you will further excel and where you will be happy and get motivated.

And this was what happened to me during my early years of working at the corporate world under the Tourism and Hotel Industry. Don't get me wrong. I loved my job -  Working in the Tourism and Hotel Industry is fun not to mention the perks and benefits. But, really, some good things never last....

At first it was hard. I had second thoughts because the General Manager whom I'm reporting to is very supportive. Just the thought of breaking the news to my boss really breaks my heart.

But I need to MOVE ON....

And that's what I did. I should congratulate myself for having the courage to do it :) :) :)

I chose not to put into details here how our verbal conversation went because it was really an emotional one ;) - - but I am sharing here a copy of the resignation letter which I handed over.

Dear Sir,

As someone who has been immensely proud to have represented a wonderful company and, importantly, to have had the honor of being one of the extremely successful Sales and Marketing team for almost three years, this is indeed a most difficult letter to write. But I am now tendering my resignation effective September 23.

Since our last talk early this month, I have had a good deal of time to thoroughly think it over, to review my position as a Sales Manager and reflect on my career goals. And while I have reaped enormous enjoyment and satisfaction from working with (MY COMPANY) and sharing in so many memorable test-series experiences, I must admit that some personal doubts have emerged these past few weeks concerning whether I would indeed be staying and working with (MY COMPANY) or thinking and weighing my own best interests by making myself available working with another company.

God has indeed blessed me with people who made my stay meaningful and challenging. The work and responsibilities I experienced at (MY COMPANY) has enhanced my skills and broadened my views in life. I know this will help me in whatever endeavor I will undertake in the future. It is an arduous decision to make because I want to grow old with the company but this time I have decided to realize my professional and personal growth and goals. My decision to leave the company has been thoroughly thought out and reflects my career goals. This was not an easy decision and took a lot of consideration but I believe it will be an exciting step forward and one that you will understand and support.

I am extending my gratitude to the directors, co-managers, staff and colleagues who in one way or another has helped me in my professional growth and I am certain that the skills I have acquired will be of value throughout my career.

Cold Mornings

OH APRIL!

 THIS IS THE MONTH IN OUR COUNTRY WHERE SUMMER IS AT ITS PEAK.
AND IN MOST FORMS OF SOCIAL MEDIA, I COULD ALREADY READ RANTS ABOUT HOW HOT AND HUMID OUR TEMPERATURE IS. 

JUST THIS MORNING, I WOKE UP EARLY AND TEMPERATURE IS ALREADY HIGH. 

TO MY SURPRISE,
THE SUN IS SHINING SO BRIGHT EVEN IF IT'S JUST HALF PAST SIX. 

AT TIMES LIKE THIS, MOST OF US WOULD LIKE TO BASK IN THE SUN, HAVE FUN AND JUST  BOND WITH OUR FAMILY OR FRIENDS IN A GET -AWAY AT THE BEACH. 

SUMMER IS REALLY A SEASON OF FUN AND ACTIVITIES.
ALTHOUGH THERE IS STILL A PART OF ME 
THAT MISSES THE COLD MORNINGS WE HAVE HAD IN THE PAST MONTHS. 

THIS OUTFIT I'M FEATURING MADE ME MISSED THE COLD MORNINGS SO MUCH MORE.

I WORE A TOP AND LAYERED IT WITH A REVERSIBLE JACKET I SCORED IN A THRIFT STORE IN BAGUIO. SERIOUSLY I DIDN'T HAVE SECOND THOUGHTS IN PURCHASING IT CONSIDERING IT STILL HAS A TAG AND A BRANDED ONE. I ALSO WORE A LEGGINGS UNDER THE NEON SKATER SKIRT AND A SEMI HI-CUT CONVERSE FOR MY SHOES.

TO BREAK THE MONOTONY OF MY BEANIE, 

I TRIED TO TIE AROUND A FLOWER HALO ON IT. 

AND TADAAAA! I HAVE A FLOWER HALO ON MY BEANIE :-)

ANOTHER WEEKDAYS HAS PASSED AND ANOTHER WEEKEND HAS ARRIVED! I WORKED MOST OF THE WEEKDAYS -  MEETINGS. CONCEPTUALIZATION, PARTY, SOCIALIZATION. OH, HOW I LOVE MY JOB. 

HOPE YOU LOVE YOURS TOO. 

TODAY, I'M FEATURING ANOTHER OUTFIT. 

I'M OBSESSED WITH DENIM SHORTS. 

SO MUCH OBSESSED THAT EVEN ON A COLD WEATHER, I  CHOSE TO WEAR ONE, 

SINCE IT'S COLD, I PAIRED IT WITH AN OVERLAPPED DENIM BLACK JACKET.  I AGAIN WORE A TRANSPARENT LEGGING AND A BOOTS TO PROTECT MY LEGS FROM THE CHILI WEATHER. 

DURING SUMMER TIME, THIS OUTFIT COULD BE WORN TOO.  JUST REPLACE THE DENIM JACKET INTO A SIMPLE SHIRT. OMIT THE TRANSPARENT LEGGING AND BOOTS AND WEAR A SNEAKERS OR A SANDALS INSTEAD.
