MEET THE NEWEST ALTHEA MAKEUP LINE + MY EASY-PEASY LOOK IN ONE GO

When Althea released its own set of makeup products just recently — I got stoked! With its gorgeous shades and how pigmented it is, I told myself: oh everything definitely is worth the dibs!

Last year, when Althea released the Petal Velvet Powder ~ a lot of us went gaga over it. I mean— who wouldn't especially when it totally delivers a smooth finish. And then their Flawless Creamy Concealer came thereafter — my gosh! When they released this ~ I closed my eyes and wished upon the stars in high hopes that they would soon release lippies and more makeup.

I guess my wish has been heard! Because in no time, they announced that they will be releasing their own line of makeup that consists of the Watercolor Cream Tints, Spotlight Eye Glitter, the Eye Palette Sunrise & Moonrise in collaboration with BCL, and the Skin Relief Spot Film Gel.

And so without further adieu, meet newest #AltheaMakeup line! I already explored and tried these amazing products and I'm finally posting the look I created featuring these products! Let me spill it with you in quick deets below for I know you might also want to try 'em yourself. Individual posts per product line are posted on a separate blog entry. :)

BCL X ALTHEA EYE PALETTE SUNRISE & MOONRISE

If you are an Althea fan, I'm sure you've heard raves about how one can create a different gorgeous look with the new Althea Eye Palette Sunrise & Moonrise. This palette is actually a recent collaboration with another Indonesian star Bunga Citra Lestari. With BCL's love for beauty, she helped to create the beautiful SUNRISE & MOONRISE #BCLxAltheaKorea eyeshadow palette!

With 8 gorgeous eyeshadows, the palette could be your go-to choice for daytime and nighttime looks.

Check out how I use these amazing products to create a simple -yet fabulous look. 😉

How to Make Simple -yet Fab Look in One Go With Althea Makeup

First things first! Cleans your face thoroughly to remove oil and dirt.

For blemishes, use Skin Relief Spot Film Gel. This works like a charm! If you’re previously using pimple patches, this will definitely be your next best friend. It helps to heal your acne while blurring and letting you apply makeup over it.

Apply a very thin layer on your acne — trust me you can feel its difference from pimple patches.

This gel turns into a protective film like magic!

Here’s how I did my simple and quick makeup which I documented through a photo diary:

I tried something that looks natural with a fresh pinkish/bare skin look as inspired by K-beauty.

Apply your foundation followed by Althea Flawless Creamy Concealer.

I find Honey and Mocha as the perfect shades for me and I'm using them alternately.

In this photo, I used Mocha to conceal dark circles and to somewhat highlight some parts of my face. It conceals perfectly and blends well.

I used two shades from BCL X Althea Eye Palette Sunrise & Moonrise >>>

First — the (matte light brown) pan.

I do not have makeup brushes with me when I did this so I only use my magic fingers all the time when applying it and blending. (it worked, haha!)

If you’re attending an event during the day time (which I was about to when I documented this) you might want to add a subtle pink accent (deep wine) to your simple Korean makeup look.

To make it glammed up, apply the Spotlight Eye Glitter in Pink Light at the center of your eyelid then blend the sides to make a gradient effect.

Apply lippy.

I used the Water Color Cream Tint in Marron shade.

Check to see if you have blended everything.

Don't forget to shape up your brows.

The brows define our features ~ so yup, never ever forget to enhance your brows.

Quickly dab blush on and highlighters.

Finish up with mascara.

As simple and as quick as it is.

As simple and as quick as it is.

If you like to recreate this look— this will be your simple -yet fab makeup in one go!

How do you find it?? :)

Oh wait, before I end this, I would like to highlight that the BCL X Althea Eye Palette Sunrise & Moonrise can create different looks.

Another look that I tried once is a smokey look.

Here's how>>>
You can keep your eyes smoking hot with a Smokey Purple eyeshadow on top of your Glam Pink look! Add the darkest shade or the last pan (cool purple shade with subtle shimmer) on the crease. Spread for a dramatic look and apply on your lower lid to complete the smokey purple look.

I really love the Palette — my gosh! Perfect for us who are always on the go. :)

If you want to try these products, you may also purchase them from Althea. 💓
