SvelT’i's EMERGE SKIN TREATMENT — BE AT YOUR MOST BEAUTIFUL YOU

When I was a bit younger, you could seldom hear me talk about skin treatments or even skin care for that matter. Add more years and you could see me go gaga to almost all topics about skin. Why? Because as they say, nasa huli ang pagsisisi talaga. I actually started late in "really caring" for my skin. But I still  believe in the saying, "It's never too late". Ofcourse, it is still best if you started young but for those of you who are like me — You can still start over. Not tomorrow, but NOW.
You may wonder why I never even bothered for my skin. Kasi naman, when I was on my puberty stage and even during my twenties, I never really had a problem with blemishes nor acne and zits. I could consider myself lucky because of that pero yeah, sana nga, I should have started a beauty skin ritual that could have prevented some fine lines that I see today.

Well, past is past and I can no longer bring back the "what could have been" ~ but I know in my heart that I could still do something about it and that is to correct it now. Kaya nga I was really into it and was really attentive — grasping every information that I could at the recent launch at SvelT’i 'cause I know that with SvelT’i EMERGE skin treatment, may pag -asa pa.

What is Emerge, you ask.

During the launch, the host described Emerge as a non-invasive, non-surgical approach that uses laser technology to do lasting work under the affected layers of the skin. Unattended Acne, Melasma, Stretchmarks are just a few of the many skin conditions that can only be addressed by treatments that have been designed to effect long-lasting care such as emerge. It is more effective than most skin treatments because it addresses the skin problems at their roots.

Dr. Lalaine Salazar, the Medical Director of SvelT’i Health and Beauty Centre, explains, “The healing that Emerge provides lasts longer because it focuses on the affected parts of the skin which lie a few layers below the epidermis or the surface. Fractional skin resurfacing with Palomar uses laser energy microbeams to create new layers of skin on the affected area that extends through the epidermis into the dermis. The body’s natural healing process allows new, healthy tissue to replace the areas of affected tissue, resulting in healthier, younger-looking skin.”

“Emerge triggers the production of collagen under the skin of the affected area such as a scar on the cheek, a wrinkle on the forehead, or a stretch mark on the stomach. Collagen is the body’s natural substance that rejuvenates and softens the skin and makes it look young,” Dr. Salazar continues.

Emerge is designed to make the patients emerge with their best in all spheres of their lives. From a busy boardroom to a sunny beach, they can radiate their best, basking in the new confidence that their rejuvenated skin has given them.

“There is minimal to no downtime,” enthuses Dr. Salazar. “Each session is conducted for only 30 minutes. The patient can go home, shop in the mall, or return to work. They can resume their activities without any inconvenience.”

During the launch, they have presented to us a patient who have been suffering from severe acne scars. I have seen Duane in some previous events 'cause he's a fellow blogger too. He went under Emerge treatment for several months and if you were there at the launch, you would actually be surprised with the big difference on his skin.

“After one treatment, you can see results,” says Dr. Salazar. “Commitment on the part of the patients is needed until the desired long-term result is achieved.

Prior to the treatment, a consultation with each patient is conducted to determine how Emerge can be best applied to respond to their unique needs.

“Our solutions are customized,” says Dr. Salazar. “Each patient has their own unique medical history which can explain how they acquired such conditions. Our application of Emerge is designed to bring out the best possible result for the patient while taking into consideration their lifestyle and work activity.”

Look at him now. Skin is brighter and more fresher than ever. There might still be some more visible scars but definitely there's really a BIG difference already and as what Dr. Lalaine has mentioned, with continuous commitment, for sure he will achieve a scar free skin soon.
