EVENT | WATSON'S HAIR AFFAIR - COLOR YOUR HAIR COLOR YOUR LIFE

You would notice in my photos here in the blog that I have been wearing my hair in different colors for sometime already. I started touching -up my originally black hair with a touch of brown.
Slowly, as the years went by, that shade of brown becomes lighter and lighter until such time that I had the courage to just play on with a lot of colors and did an ombre.

Early last year, I had that certain guts and dared to color my tresses with a touch of cherry red. Then it became green, and then pink and then peach and then deep red and it goes on and on.
I don't know, I just find that certain happiness especially when seeing my self wearing a unique color. Bonus points na lang the stares and compliments I get every now and then. Colouring your hair does color ones life! :)

And so when I received an invite to the Hair Affair of Watson's 2 weeks ago, I didn't think twice. (Kahit na from South to North, dinayo ko talaga!) The event was last  June 27 2015 at the Block, SM North Edsa.

Watsons arranged for a grand Hair Affair that featured the season’s trendiest hair colors and hairstyles to  commemorate  the  power  of  hair  transformations,  and  celebrate beauty,  fashion,  female empowerment, and self  expression.

Local celebrities graced the event. Early half of the event were hosted by Ms. Denise Laurel and DJ Peter. The next half was hosted by Ms. Bianca Valerio.

The ever super gwapo, Mr. Daryl Ong rendered a song which brought the ladies into their kilig mode.

And the beautiful Ms. Solenn Heusaff performed too.

Also, among those in attendance were vlogger/blogger/MTV VJ Aryanna Epperson, Beauty Editor Kim Reyes Palanca, and beauty bloggers Jackie Go and Helga Webber.

The four style influencers each sported a chic new ‘do, and shared their colour hair story ~ how a change in hair color can indeed change your life.

The mane event was graced by beauty-lovers, fearless females, and all those ready to join the biggest and brightest hair transformation.

Watsons, your favorite one-stop-shop for all things beauty, lends a hand in showing that coloring your hair really does color your life!

Hair coloring stations are made available for the Watson Shoppers.

Shoppers can choose from Watsons’ wide array of hair coloring products that would add some swag that would make one feel confident, fresh, vibrant, and downright beautiful!

The shoppers executed a lot of smile in their faces because color application services were offered for free during the event.

Thanks so much Cathy David for the inviting me!

Extending my thank you also to Watson's for having me in this year's Watson's Hair Affair. It is a very empowering event.

I really love the small collection of hair dyes (Syoss & Revia), Professional hair care kit from Schwarzkopf, Dove Shampoo and Conditioner set. Thank you Watsons! These hair colors and hair care set gave me a reason to push for my long time dream.

I have always believed that colouring ones hair was a mark of freedom.
And I am celebrating my freedom everyday -- the freedom to express ourselves fully through color.

Now I do not have to wonder if blondes really do have more fun.

Head on over to your nearest Watsons store and transform your tresses too−transform your life−today!

How do you like my new hair color?
