You Cannot Pour from an Empty Cup

2020 has been a tough year for many of us, but we made it to December, the most wonderful time of the year and the busiest one too. 🎄The months since March have been a challenge and to say that 2020 has been a unique year would be an understatement. I for one could have never imagined the things that the whole world is facing currently. It's true, nobody could have ever predicted, but amid the challenges and changes we faced — there have been victories and accomplishments to look back on and celebrate.

Easier said than done when you think about it especially for moms like me, but being the MOM of our family, I need to be strong and thankful that I was able to handle it pretty well because of the support of my family too. To keep my sanity intact, I never forget about self-care. Is it selfishness? Definitely not. As they say, one cannot pour from an empty cup and I guess it's what kept me going during the quarantine.

So how did I do it? If you have been following me on my social media, you know how I have always been vocal about self-care. When I feel like I’m drowning with the daily happenings in my life, I choose to have my alone time and distance myself from the voices of the world. Sometimes you just need to disconnect and enjoy your own company! And that’s what I do. Yes, moms like me need to be really strong for their fam but hey, there are times when we can’t be strong all the time. Sometimes we just need to spend time alone in our own company coz’ it helps reinforce your self-worth and is often the number one way to replenish your resilience reserves.

You know how conscious I am when it comes to protecting and guarding the family's health including each of our mental health.

To do this, I make sure that we boost up our immune system with a vitamin combo of @calciumcee_ which I have just discovered. It’s a powerful combo of a non-acidic Vitamin C and calcium that can help provide optimum immunity to our family.

We recently started taking @calciumcee_ as our daily dose of Vitamins and Calcium. Love that this combo is non-acidic so I have nothing to worry about, especially not having an upset stomach when taking it.

Taking my daily dose of Calcium Cee keeps me away from any vitamin and calcium deficiencies, thus it’s helping me stay active and healthy. How about you, how do you keep healthy and your sanity intact with all these holiday thingies?

2021 is a few days shy from now. Since we are all celebrating the New Year differently, please do not forget to make sure that every errand we make like our trip to the grocery and department stores when we shop for our holiday celebration or even to payment centres when we pay our bills should be super sulit! I know in God's Grace we can all surpass the trials that we encounter :) Advance Happy New Year 2021 to all of you guys!
