Rejuvenated, glowing skin that emphasizes your youthfulness is a result of a holistic treatment that takes into account not just one particular skin condition that you want removed, but the overall appearance and well-being of your skin and face.

This is why the doctors clinical specialists at the SvelTi Health and Beauty Center take time to evaluate your overall skin tone, its softness or bruising, and any skin discoloration. It’s not a matter of simply locating a particular bothersome condition like acne or fine lines and removing them.
“Rejuvenation comes when you restore the health not just of the affected skin part, like reducing a fine line,” says Dra. Lalaine Salazar, SvelT’i’s Medical Director.
“It is achieved when you do treat that condition but likewise see to it that, that skin area is healed and treated. Then you even it out with the rest of the surrounding areas. The skin tone becomes consistent, and all the concerned areas do glow. The patient’s face, for example, literally shines and starts to look young.”

The men and women who regularly troop to the Timog-based center usually wrestle with the onset of aging. Wrinkles and fine lines that crease the face tend to add more years to their appearance and can affect their confidence. The younger set, like teenagers, also have to deal with issues of self-image once acne sets in.

SvelTi’s holistic approach does remove or reduce the particular patch of complaint, but it adds something extra by rejuvenating the skin and the surrounding areas, giving the patient a fresher look and a bouncier step to go along with it.

What makes their approach even easier and faster is the use of the non-intrusive Revlite machine which emits laser light pulses to address the underlying reason behind the skin condition. The pulses pass through the surface of the skin and makes contact with the underlying epidermis. They stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, natural substances produced by the body that bring vitality while countering the effects of aging. The reduction of fine lines and wrinkles is immediately visible and, more important, long-lasting, as the fresh supply of collagen helps in preventing a recurrence.

Revlite has also proven effective in treating more serious skin conditions like lesions, hardened pigmentations, and the accumulation of melasma on the face. In these cases, the laser light pulses actually target and hit the discoloration or pigmentation and shatter them, breaking them into small, unseen particles. These dark shards then fade back into the skin which absorbs them through its natural cell production, never to be seen again. The natural color of the skin takes over and covers the area which once was full of hardened black spots.

“The effects of the Revlite treatment are visible and can be seen after one session,” says Dra. Salazar. “This treatment is also appealing to our hardworking professionals because one session takes only at most half an hour. There is no down time, no surgical procedure. Afterwards, they can go back to their office or the next meeting with their skin looking fresh and a bit more attractive.”

Dra. Salazar adds, “To enjoy the full effects of the treatment and get full healing or restoration, the patient would have to undergo a series of sessions. The number of sessions will depend on the gravity of her skin condition, and the beauty and wellness-related goals she wants to achieve.”
Whether it takes an hour, a day, or a couple more weeks, rejuvenation would still have happened at a much shorter time than the months or years that the patient had spent, disheartened about a very visible facial pigment that she could not quite erase. The Revlite treatment remains a quicker and more effective treatment than others, and yet the rejuvenation it brings can be more long lasting.
