If you've been following me on social media~ you may have seen that I've shared there how I clearly remembered when my mom told me that I have lactose intolerance over milk from other animals. Which explains why I won’t drink any other type of milk during my toddler years except goat’s milk.

You may wonder why all of a sudden eh I have this kwento about goat's milk. It's actually the first thing that instantly popped my mind when the DG Goat's Milk team mentioned and invited me over to the launch of DG Goat Milk Beverage for Kids. The launch is super good news to Mommies who have kids that are allergic to milk sourced from other animals. I remember my Mom would tell me nga na during my time, ang hirap pa naman daw maghanap ng premium quality of Goat's Milk and if makahanap sila ni papa eh super mahal.  Kaya, I'm super happy to know that there's already DG Goat Milk Beverage for Kids here in PH, hindi na mahihirapan ang mommies to find this type of goat's milk with the highest quality.

DG Goat Milk Beverage for Kids 3 years old and above is the Philippines first and only premium powdered milk source for goat's milk. It is produced and imported from one of the place that I'd love to Visit — New Zealand ( from the Dairy Goat Co-operative in Hamilton). Goats are carefully chosen and they make sure that they got the healthiest Saanen goats from New Zealand to ensure the highest quality that's naturally more complete, easier to digest and it is less allergenic. Aside from being made with the highest quality, it is also made responsibly. The process of converting pure goat milk into a safe, exceptional powdered milk beverage closer to its natural source.

DG Goat's Milk is a product from New Zealand and is the first powdered goat's milk in the Philippines manufactured by Pacific Healthcare Philippines.
At the event, I listened to the differences between goat's milk and other milk sourced from other animals. These were some facts discussed:

1. Goat's Milk is Naturally More Complete
Goats produce their milk through Apocrine Secretion, where milk fat and bioactive components in mammary secretory cells are enveloped by cell membranes as they are secreted. As a result, milk produced by goats has naturally occurring bioactive components such as:
  • Polyamines for intestinal cell growth and digestive capacity development
  • Nucleotides for gastrointestinal health, maturation, and recovery
  • Free Amino Acids and Glutamic Acid for immunity and gut energy
  • Taurine for bile salt formation (necessary for fat digestion), brain and retina development
  • Growth Factors such as IGF1 and TGF Beta for immunity and growth development Extensive and complicated fortification for these nutrients are no longer necessary!
2. Goat's Milk is Easier to Digest
Casein, the solid part of the milk protein produces curds in our stomach. Compared to milk sourced from other animals, DG produces a very loose curd structure with a high proportion of water that is easily broken apart, thus facilitating easier digestion of milk proteins.

3. Goat's Milk is Less Allergenic
β-Lactoglobulin is the whey protein that stimulates milk protein allergies. Compared with milk from other animals, DG has the lowest levels of β-Lactoglobulin; thus making it less allergenic for us!

4.) Goat's Milk has more CPP!
Casein Posphopeptides (CPP) binds more binds minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc. Thereby, increasing the solubility and absorption of these minerals.

This component is higher in DG, which can help your children grow healthy and strong!

There you have it ~ I really learned a lot from last week's launch and these are the things that were discussed so I wrote down the highlights to share the information with you. I also learned that kaya pala goat's milk is more expensive compared to the milk sourced from other animals is because goat's milk production is 4x lesser than others.

Being a mom, I’m all for anything that would benefit my daughter’s well-being. Ganon naman yata talaga ang goals of all moms. Sabi nga din ni husby, never ever compromise good or high-quality products lalo na if you get naman a lot of benefits.

DG Goat Milk is competitively priced and can easily be purchased via Lazada and Shopee, aside from getting it at leading drugstores nationwide.

Oh, did I say that we even got to taste a sample of their DG-infused sorbetes at the launch? It was really yummy! You may check snippets of the launch here.
